Finding my way

Hello blog and my few blog readers. It has been quite awhile. Life has kind of been turned upside down within the last month or so. Brandon got a permanent full time, salary based position with the government in Portage. I didn't get accepted into Occupational Therapy. I was extremely disappointed by this at first. It hit me really hard and I basically cried for a day straight. I felt like a failure. I felt lost and I didn't know what to do. However, I picked myself up and dusted it off. My life will go on.

Brandon and I are moving to Winnipeg shortly. He starts his new job tomorrow and I am staying at home until next week. I have a few more shifts at work, some First Aid training, and some packing to do before I move. We got an apartment with a balcony and lots of space close to the perimeter for Brandon. I plan to move with him and find a job once I get there. I may eventually go back to school or further my training but I'm not planning on rushing into anything too quickly. I am passionate about health and fitness and I would love to have a job in this field, so we will see what happens.

Life has been pretty busy and stressful lately, so that explains my absence. I hope to get back into blogging more once I move to the city and have wifi set up, yay! Right now, I am just trying to tie up loose ends and get myself organized enough to move and keep my sanity.

For now, here's some Instagram pictures of what I have been up to lately.

Nothing sweeter than a letter from my sis! She is the best :)

Here's to a good week! I will be soaking up the days over the next week or so. I will miss my parents and animals dearly but I know it's time to move on and live on our own.

Here's to a new chapter in life and new opportunities! :)
